Old Business
- Equipment lent to Impact Studios: Garrette has stated he returned the equipment. The Facilitator will be going out to the unit this week to verify the return of all equipment and check the condition of the equipment.
- Open Board Position: There was one nomination of Tasha for the open board position. Voting will be open starting Monday for 2 weeks and will be a yes or no vote as there are no other nominations. Posts will be made on Discord and FetLife with separate reminder posts to ensure that everyone knows voting is ending. Voting will end on Sunday October 23, 2022 @ 11:59pm
- By-laws, Membership and Society 101 Update : The Member at Large has gone through and done a lot of work editing, restructuring, and making corrections to the last standing by-laws to bring them in line with the current state of the organization. The Board had a meeting 9/29 attended by 3 Board Members (Facilitator, Treasurer, Member at Large) to work on the by-laws, additional changes were made. The rest of the board will review the completed proposed by-laws and the document will be made available for review by the membership. A discussion will be held on the proposed by-laws at the November Town Meeting.
New Business
- Membership Pricing: The board will be seeking member thoughts on the price of membership. Given the current state of the organization and the limitations of not having a physical space the Board has discussed lowering the price of membership.
- Upcoming Meeting Dates: Due to personal conflicts with the November meeting date for two Board Members the November Meeting will be moved to the first Sunday of the Month, November 6, 2022. December’s Meetings are scheduled for Sunday December 11, 2022 and there are no Holidays or known board conflicts.
- Open Ombudsman Position: Maverick has stepped down as the Ombudsman. The Board will be accepting nominations until November 5, 2022 at 11:59. Members can nominate themselves or another member. The Nominee must be a member in good stand for a year to run for the position.
