Old Business
- Munch/Event: Munch June 30, 2023 Athenian Diner Middletown 7-10pm
- Membership Pathway/Membership Cards: print cards and sign up for the Munch. Make sure that new people receive a pathway card and have it signed by a Board Member/Event Host.
- Membership Interviews: Link was resent to Ombudsman. Board Members need to help come up with questions so that we can conduct interviews for people who are waiting to finalize their Membership requirements.
- Educational Class Locations: Ombudsman is working on final details. The venue will accept half the door fees. The Ombudsman is working on compilinga group of Presenters that would be willing to present to us. The presenter fee would be $75. We discussed a discount card option for non-members. There was concern about offering something without knowing that we can sustain ongoing classes for a reasonable time to make the cost of a discount card for non-members worth the value . The Ombudsman also would like to see us offer a pay what you can type of payment scale. There was concern expressed about our ability to sustain things using this method without having an idea what type of draw we would be getting for these events.
New Business
- Upcoming Meeting Dates (July/August/September): July 9th (checking on the 16th), August 13, September 10.
- Voting for Governance Panel (3 Board Positions, Ombudsperson): The voting for the nominated Governance Panel Members is active and will run until Sunday June 18, 2023 at 11:59PM. In relation to the third Board position that has been vacant since September 2022, the Member at Large mentioned that a member shared with them that the Board might want to consider a by-law change to adjust the number of board members to 5 instead of 6. We could remove the Member at Large Position without causing a huge disruption to the Board.
