Old Business
- Membership Interviews: Everyone needs to make this a focus and get a few questions on the list.
- Educational Class Locations:The Ombudsperson who was not at the meeting is handling this so there was no update on this information.
New Business
- Vaccine requirement for Classes: All present Board members were on board with requiring vaccinations of class attendees when required by the instructor as a condition of teaching the class. Offering a variety of classes should allow everyone to attend. We will need to plan both to make sure classes are clearly labeled if vaccination is required and account for checking cards and keeping track of that information so that people do not need to bring their cards every time. This should also go along with checking ID for 18+ age.
- Munch Recap: low attendance, location was not ideal as other people were seated in the side room.
- Upcoming Munches/Events: Not known as of the time of the meeting. The Co-Faciliator is handling events. Event Suggestion of the Nutmeg Restaurant on Rt 5 in South Windsor was shared by the Archivist.
- Upcoming Meeting Dates (August/September/October): August 13, September 10, October 8,
- Vote results for Governance Panel (3 Board Positions, Ombudsperson): Hoosbond and Giddion were re-elected to the Board and Bartlby was re-elected to the Ombudsperson position.
- Board Positions: The decision was made that the Board Members would remain in their current positions except that the Member at Large would move to the Secretary position leaving the Member at Large Position open.
